It’s hard. It’s slow. But it’s worth it.

I know things could be feeling tough right now (for so many reasons) and to be very honest, I'm stuck on what to say. But this is something that has been on my mind and coming up with designers in the community.

It takes time to grow a jewelry business.

If you’re questioning the pace of your progress or wondering when it’s all going to click—just know you’re not alone. And you’re not doing anything wrong. Building a brand takes time.

In a recent interview for the Stay Gold Collective, Daria de Koning told me it took at least a decade before she really felt aligned with her work. She said, “If you’re authentic to the product you’re creating, and you’re authentic to yourself… it just comes across.”

Cindy Liebel, who was recently on the Success with Jewelry Podcast, just hit 15 years in business. And her big Oprah moment? Even when her jewelry was on major TV shows earlier in her career, it didn’t immediately lead to sales.

There’s this idea that one big feature, being in your dream store, or a viral post will change everything—but that’s not usually how it works. It’s about consistency, creating relationships and trusting that your voice will get clearer the more you keep going.

So if things are feeling slow or unclear—that’s part of the process too. Keep showing up. Keep making what feels right. And although it can feel really hard, take care of yourself and time to rest.

It's all going to pay off.
