Seven years of Stay Gold

I started the Stay Gold Collective seven years ago this month.

The idea came from two things. I wanted to give independent designers real information and resources about an industry that is unique and often challenging to navigate. And I kept seeing designers come together and support each other, at trade shows, at events, and I realized people weren't just looking for information. They were looking for community.

It's evolved a lot over the years as I've learned more from the community about what actually supports their businesses.

Some members have been here since the beginning, and they set the tone and helped build the foundation. I'm so grateful for their engagement and feedback, and I'm proud of how they've grown.

Seven years in, I believe we need community more than ever. Growth doesn't happen in isolation. It happens when we come together and show up for each other consistently.
