Workshops
I've been working with independent makers and designers for years, and some of my favorite moments have been in a room — or on a Zoom — where people are learning together, asking real questions, and leaving with something they can actually use.
I offer workshops for groups, guilds, conferences, and organizations in the jewelry and broader craft community. If you're looking for someone who understands what it's like to run a handmade business and can talk practically about the stuff that actually moves the needle, I'd love to work with your group.

I've also taught for:
Craft Your Commerce, Metalwerx, the Halstead Jewelry Business Forum, the Society of North American Goldsmiths, Alloy: A Metalsmithing Community, and smaller groups across the country. Workshops are typically two hours on Zoom with time built in for Q&A. If you're based in or near Asheville, I'm also open to teaching in person.

Here's what I currently offer:
Marketing Plans
Made Simple
Marketing can feel overwhelming when you're doing everything yourself. This workshop walks you step by step through the essentials of building a clear, actionable marketing plan designed specifically for your jewelry business. We cover how to set realistic goals, identify your target audience, and choose the channels that will have an impact. You'll leave with easy-to-use templates, a roadmap that makes your marketing feel focused and doable, and a clearer sense of how to track what's working and adjust as you grow.
Creating a Consistent Content Strategy
Showing up consistently is one of the hardest parts of marketing a small business. This workshop guides you through building a content strategy that supports your business goals without burning you out. We talk about defining your brand voice, identifying your ideal customer, choosing the right content pillars and platforms, and planning content that engages your audience and drives sales. You'll leave with a content strategy that takes the guesswork out of what to post, when to post, and how to make your marketing feel consistent and purposeful.
Wholesale 101
Wholesale can open up a new chapter for your business, but it comes with a lot of questions. This workshop gives you the knowledge, strategies, and tools to enter the wholesale market confidently, whether you're brand new to it or you've gotten started and want to refine your approach. We cover the fundamentals of the wholesale landscape, how to research and build a targeted prospect list, how to execute outreach, and how to present your collection in a way that resonates with buyers. We also get into pricing, line sheets, trade show strategy, booth design, and follow-up.
