Lori Aks Jewelry Golden Spiral Pearl Charm with Squiggle Link

One-of-a-kind (30 x 20 x .4 mm) charm hand-carved in wax and cast into sterling silver using the lost wax method. Hand-finished with 24K Gold using the Keum-boo method and lightly oxidized. A 10mm pearl sits at its center. Attached to my signature Squiggle Link (25 x 10 x .2 mm)
in textured oxidized sterling silver. 
 
The Golden Spiral Pearl Charm is a one-of-a-kind piece from my 2024 Crinkled Spiral Collection. 
 
The Crinkled Spiral motif symbolizes personal growth and discovery. I keep coming back to the crinkled texture in my pieces, and I think it adds depth and dimension visually and shows that the process of self-discovery is full of twists and turns.
Designed to coordinate with all the collections, the crinkled spiral pieces incorporate both hand-fabricated and wax-carved elements as I explore various modalities to achieve a textured, crinkled spiraling form.
