Why your posts aren't leading to sales

Do you feel like your digital marketing isn't working right now? You're posting consistently, you're showing up, but your jewelry isn't selling (or in my case, my workshops aren't filling up).
One fix could be to lean into trends, show your face, use popular audio, and work towards creating something viral.
But here’s the more effective option: lean into your network. Because real people and real connections lead to sales.
A consistent content strategy is still important because when I tell someone about your work, and they look you up, it needs to be easy for them to find out how to buy from you.
For example, a mom friend heard me talk about a designer, then followed that designer on Instagram, and when that designer posted about a nearby pop-up, my mom friend went and bought two pieces.
It sounds small, but interactions like this add up. If I were this designer, I’d circle back to me and say, ‘Hey Liz! Let’s get more of your mom friends together and do a small event.’
If we shift our focus away from trying to create viral content and worrying about not being seen, and put a plan together to build real connections, the sales will follow.
