What are your current goals?

You’re not creating content to create content. You’re doing it with a goal.
This is the main takeaway I want designers to have from my conversations about content strategy and planning. When you have clarity on your goals, everything becomes a little easier. The challenge is often defining and sticking to them while also making sure they align with your why and your values.
Right now, my own goals feel tied to overcoming burnout, lightening my workload, improving my relationship with social media (less mindless scrolling), and focusing on The Stay Gold Collective and my local artist community. That shift has left me a bit stuck in what to say online, since I am still sorting it all out. And as a consultant who is supposed to be the expert, it feels vulnerable to admit that. But I know I’m not the only one navigating changes in how we want to show up.
Heading into the fall season and Q4, and even looking ahead to 2026, I am working on trusting my gut and leaning further into the projects I feel passionate about. While writing this email, I realized that at the end of the day, my goal is what it has always been: connection.
