As I’ve been preparing for a panel discussion about the power community for NYC Jewelry Week, I’ve been thinking about my own experiences and why I create the Stay Gold Collective.
For several years I had the opportunity to curate the New Designer Gallery at JA New York and eventually a trade show in Las Vegas with Morgan Miller. The participating designers always left these experiences with new friendships that would often lead to collaborations. I saw how important a supportive community is for designers and was inspired to build the Stay Gold Collective.
