Community, focus, and the year ahead

I shared something similar in my final note of the year, but I know 2025 was tough for many of you, and you may still be feeling burnt out. I am too. At the same time, I’m feeling energized as we head into this new year.
During the holiday break, we had a small virtual happy hour with a group of long-time Stay Gold Collective members. It was simple and grounding, and it reinforced something I already know: community matters more than ever.
When I was thinking about choosing a word for 2026, I kept coming back to focus, both personally and professionally. Growing and nurturing the Stay Gold Collective has always mattered to me, but this year it’s my main focus. For anyone new here, it’s a community I started seven years ago to support independent jewelry designers as they grow their businesses. If you’re curious, just hit reply. I’m always happy to talk about it.
Personally, I want to prioritize the relationships that matter and lean into the things that feel important, instead of saying yes to everything.
Get clearer. Lean in. Focus.
I’d love to connect one-on-one. If you feel like sharing, write back and tell me how you’re entering 2026 and what you’re working toward, big or small.
