The current fashion cycle is crazy. With Pre-Fall, Fall Couture, Fall Ready-To-Wear, Resort, Men's, Bridal and Spring Ready-To-Wear, it's hard to keep up. Although I follow some new collections more closely than others, I always look forward to Delpozo. Their designs mix delicate elements with strong lines in a very modern way. This was their first Pre-Fall collection. According to WWD, Delpozo's creative director, Josep Font, was inspired by "the colorful work of Mexican architect Luis Barragán and the photography of Japanese artist Nobuyoshi Araki."
The knitware and the shoes are the best parts of the collection but I also love the patterns and color combinations. While the looks are big, they are still wearable because of all the great layering pieces.
